Where should we stay?Westin Siray Bay Hotel ! We've made arrangements with the Hotel to give our guests better prices near the date of our wedding to help our gusts stay close by on the night! Check out our page for Westin Siray Bay to learn more. We would also recommend researching into accomodation nearby using websites like booking.com and Expedia.com. Here are some that caught our attention while browsing quickly, The Tide, Siray Green Resort, Foto Hotel Phuket and The Nchantra Beachfront Resorts.

How should I get from the airport to the venue? The Hotel has recommended taking their personal limousine which needs to be prebooked, using the local tax services or even using the GRAB app on your phone which is the equivalent to UBER. To see more info about this, visit our page on The Westin Siray Bay.

What's the weather like around that time? It's summer in Thailand and most like 30 degrees and above! We would recommend bringing the following items: - Sunscreen!! (Cheaper in Australia) - A big hat ! (or buy one at the markets in Phuket town) - Sunglasses - anything else you'd expect to bring to the beach basically!

Do i need a visa to travel to Thailand? If you hold an Australian Passport then you can travel to Thailand as a tourist without a visa for up to 30 days. However, keep in mind your passport must be valid and must not expire within 6 months of entering Thailand. Check out the Australian Government Smart Traveller Website for more information: https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/destinations/asia/thailand#:~:text=term%20business%20travel.-,Your%20passport%20must%20be%20valid%20for%20more%20than%206%20months,Royal%20Thai%20Consulate%2DGeneral%20Sydney. Disclaimer* We would definitely recommend doing your own research into your ability to travel abroad and checking online from trustworthy sources.

It's my first time to Thailand, anything i should know or how should I prepare for this trip?Luckily, Thailand is an amazing country with many many nice people. Here are some tips and pointers: - Thailand's currency is called Thai Bhat and at the time of writing this, it has a conversion of 1 AUD = 22.20 Bhat. - Definitely have some local currency on hand incase of emergency and you need to catch a taxi. - Some smaller taxi's are called tuk tuks and are generally cheaper but always agree on a price before getting in! - Phuket is actually an island off the coast of mainland Thailand and doesn't have a large selection of public transport so most people generally get around via the road - There are many temples throughout Thailand and I would highly recommend visiting a few to enjoy the culture, a friendly reminder however that you must not wear any revealing clothing and wear long pants and clothes with sleaves (atleast from your elbow down) - Learning some Thai goes a long way! To say hi, they say "Sawasdee" [Sa Wah Dee] "Khap" [Cup] (for men) or "Sawasdee" [Sa Wah Dee] "Kha" [Kaa] (for women). And to say thank you, they say "Korb" [Cob] khun Khap (for men) or "Korb" [Cob] khun Khaaa (for women). - Thailand is very hot and humid so be sure to stay hydrated and be prepared with a hat, remember slip, slop, slap! - Also could be a good idea to check with your GP if you require any additional vaccines prior to traveling.

How far do I need to travel between the Ceremony and the Reception?Probably about 40 steps from the beach to the restaurant in the hotel. So don't forget your dancing shoes!
